We are FIRST Robotics Competition Team 533, The PSIcotics, from Lindenhurst, New York. Our team acts as an after-school program at Lindenhurst Senior High School for students grades 9 through 12 with one goal: prepare students to succeed in their lives following high school. Not to mention we do it using robots!

     Each year our team is tasked with building a life-sized robot that must compete against other teams in a game created by FIRST. With a new game, new challenges, and new members every season, one thing always remains the same: the implementation of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, or STEM, into the lives of our members.

     But here at Team 533, we don’t just build robots; we build character. We believe that everyone has the ability for greatness and make it our mission to unlock that potential. By valuing personal development, we strive to help our members discover who they truly are while preparing, inspiring, and building every student into the best versions of themselves.
