Our team greatly appreciates our community. In order to give back, we participate in many community service events and local activities.
Beach Clean Up 2019
Our team members and alumni helped out in this year’s beach clean up at Gilgo Beach in Babylon
As a team, we collected over 50 pounds of garbage from the beach
Volleyball Tournament 2019
Our team members participated in a volleyball tournament hosted by our school’s National Honor Society
The proceeds from this event went to charity
Color Run 2019
Our members participated in the third annual True Colors Run for Hope
Hosted by the Lindenhurst Community Cares Coalition, this event hopes to spread awareness and promote prevention of underage drinking and drug misuse
Toys For Tots Drive 2018
Our team hosted a Toys For Tots toy drive
In total, we were able to collect 138 toys
Animal Supply Drive 2017
We donated homemade dog treats, food, and toys to the West Babylon Animal Shelter

Walk to End Hydrocephalus 2014
In 2014, our students and mentors participated in the local Walk to end Hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is when babies are born with an excess of fluid in the brain. This walk supported the Hydrocephalus Association.

Our students proudly participated in this walk that was hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association
Hurricane Sandy Relief
After Hurricane Sandy hit Long Island, our team helped out our neighborhood by donating food, water, and other supplies
