Due to the complications of the COVID-19 pandemic, safety precautions during the holiday season has been a major concern for the Lindenhurst School District. In an attempt to ensure that elementary school students had the opportunity to safely go trick-or-treating this Halloween, the Lindenhurst High School Student Council took it upon themselves to organize Trick or Trunk, an outdoor event on Friday, October 30th,  in which the elementary students could go trick-or-treating in the high school parking lot.

Dozens of teams and clubs from the high school, including Team533, set up tables and decorated car trunks to participate. Facial coverings were required, and our members were happy to hand out goodie bags of candy, all of which were prepared while wearing gloves and face masks, to the appreciative children and parents.
